This morning I had one of those bus rides where people remind me of animals -- usually not in a bad way -- just, where all mouths look like muzzles, dog or wolf. It's hard to shake. Anyway, I love when my mind plays visual tricks on me.

This quick picture, and the idea of transforming faces, distantly reminds me of one of my favourite books covers, which I'll share with you. This disturbing painting for Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho was illustrated by Marshall Arisman. I think he did multiple versions, because the one on his website differs from this one, and is even more ugly in mood.
